She is passionate about chamber music and is currently part of the Cardinal Wind Quintet, made up of fellow fourth-year wind students from RNCM.  Orchestral music is another love of hers, and she has been fortunate to have been part of various Australian Youth Orchestra programs, as well as playing in the RNCM Symphony Orchestra. She has also been incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to be a part of many world premieres during her time at the RNCM; recent highlights include premiering Emily Pedersen’s chamber opera, “Screenshot”, at the Stoller Hall, and Haodong Wang’s “Concerto for Viola and Ensemble”.

In her spare time, Kaoruko enjoys buying books, and occasionally reading them
