Kámea Németh is a 21-year-old queer Brummie composer/arranger/singer originating from Hungary. They are currently studying composition at the RNCM and are in the 4th and final year of their BMus degree.

Throughout their work, Kámea likes to include whimsy and playfulness where appropriate. As a singer, Kámea has grown up singing in choirs like the Ex Cathedra Junior and Senior Academy, so they are specifically very confident in arranging music for voice. Additionally, studying composition makes Kámea comfortable with arranging music for most instruments.

As part of their studies at the RNCM, they arranged two of pop singer/songwriter Hetta Falzon’s original songs, ‘Sobering’ and ‘The Rabbit Hole’, for her band and the RNCM session orchestra with which she won the RNCM Original Artists’ Gold Medal. Kámea’s recent arrangements include an arrangement of Orinoco Flow for the RNCM Session Orchestra.
